took place in 2013. I was invited by Tel Aviv University to take part in a workshop for academics.
During the 12-day program (here is a clip that TAU cut together based on their work over the last 20 years, if you look closely you can see me in some scenes https://youtu.be/x0hl-BSes8I) we also visited Yad Vashem and had the opportunity to meet the famous Holocaust researcher Yehuda Bauer. He gave a lecture and afterwards we had the opportunity for questions and answers. Some time later, on one of my many trips to Israel, I had the opportunity to hear him give another lecture. It was then that I really became aware of his fame and the importance of his words for the people who came, as the hall was full and people welcomed him with bouquets of flowers and warmth.
Yehuda Bauer has published with the same publishing house as I have my new book.
I feel really honored that my work stands next to his.
Yehuda Bauer has now passed away at the age of 98.
May his memory be a blessing.

As I mentioned last week, I was asked to write a review of a text by a colleague. Click here for my review, you can find it on the right side https://mededpublish.org/articles/14-205/v1#referee-response-39260
Otherwise, my week was as usual: busy and full of preparations for the coming weeks and months. I have written 2 new articles that will be published soon on the topics of federalism and inquisition. I am also working with a new organization and create teaching materials for an exhibition. More on this soon!
As for preparations: I will be going on a research trip to Canada in November to push ahead with my project. I will report on the details in the upcoming blog posts.
